Purchased my audi 2.0l fsi s line in January of this year as prices are a bit cheaper in the winter months and all I can say is what a wonderful motor as you would expect built by german engineering this car is of high quality both in engineering and design. Now that the sun is starting to shine the roof has been down and its a pleasure to drive and a real head turner. It handles superbly and fuel efficency is not to bad if you drive conservatively urban 25mpg extra 40mpg.All I can say is that I am delighted by the car and seeing its value go UP now the summer is coming pleases me even more.
I took delivery yesterday of my 3rd brand new Audi Cabriolet 2.0T in Black. (The other 2 were 1.8t) After looking around for a few weeks i decided that there was no car on the market in this price range i liked more than the Audi. So i got my 3rd.It looks lovely and feels solid and Powerful every time you drive it.Well pleased and highly reccommended.
bought the car 2004 have done 35000 miles the quality and drive is superb fuel consumption also good love the multitronic 6 speed box. to many blind spots and can be downright dangerous because of this!! Good size boot golf clubs and trolley fit in easily. not without its problems a leaky rad took five visits to cure audi mechanics couldnt find fault turned out to be split hose £500 later also new antiroll bar .Audi mechanics need some proper training though always polite and curteous
My wife has now had 2 A4 Cabriolets - first a 2.4V6 multitronic and now a 2.0T manual. The second is far better and far more economical, a better drive and better performance. Have also driven a 1.8T - very sharp and nippy and a Tiptronic 2.0TDI - suprisingly responsive.
The car is excellent - cannot fault it. Some suggestions on the options list:
1. Park sensors a good idea - especially rear as its high compared to driving position. 2. Avoid elec seats v. expensive and not reliable 3. If poss, spec Sport version - hold their value far more 4. Get Autoglym treatment as a dealer bung DONE WHEN BRAND NEW - it makes cleaning the car a doddle - havent a clue whats in it, but everything (including seagull poo) washes off very easily Wind deflector essential on motorway/>60mph 5. Ours is low mileage use (about 5K per year) which makes Audi's service scheme a great deal. Basically everything covered including tyres for less than £18 a month
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
