    My car

I have owned this car for 18 months, covering about 19000 miles in this time. I would have done quite a few more miles if the reliability of the car wasnt so bad that it has actually spent upwards of 6 weeks in the shop for various problems including

    - Water pump failure - choking of the water system requiring new radiator and heater matrix - Broken boot catch - Stereo failure requiring replacement - Defective oil level sensor - Defective trip computer - Problems with electric windows not working correctly - Various other electrical faults

The car drives very well, in my opinion the 2.0TDI engine is excellent, allthough 1st gear is poor it pulls well through all other gears. Little wind noise at high speeds and average mpg is a respectible 47. Interior quality is good.

It is impossible however to get past the terrible reliability (this is an approved used car bought from a main dealer) also), as such i would not recommend this car to anyone

    My car

Brought this car second hand and have been impressed with the way it handled the road, but feel the cabin looks too plastic and cheap and The equipment needs refining.

The plastic dash board has managed to warp slightly after being in close proximity to my air freshner (didn't have this problem with my Accord), The 'Single disc' cd player asks me which CD I would like to listen to, change and eject (Don't see the point cos it is a Single CD player), the climate control tells me it is -54C in july and blows out warm air to heat the car ( So far i haven't been able to fix this prob.

The electric windows are great if you know how to angle your finger to press the button and the best part is the boot, you have to open and close it several times (up to 10-15 times in the freezing winter, looking really silly and annoy the neighbours with the banging) cos the lock hasn't clicked into place, this isn't an isolated case cos i have stopped and told by another Audi A4 owner telling me he has the same problems

    My car

Having previously written a review about the quality of my Audi, i thought i would update would be Audi owners. Have now covered 22000 miles without a single fault and an overall average fuel consumption 53mpg, and on a run using the cruise control I can acheive 62mpg however that so sticking to national speed limits of course. The sound system is very good when using the cd but can be a bit crackerly when using FM. I have looked at changing but to be honest I cannot find a car to better it so will probably keep it for another 60000 miles yet or until something better comes along, but as for straying away from Audi it will have to be really good. Having driven BMW cars previously the Audi brand is better value for money smoother to drive and generally more responsive.

    My car

Purchased my A4 form a Toyota dealership and paid less than they brought it for. After reading alot of reviews on this site I felt uncertain about my purchase, however have now done about 2500 miles and am most impressed with the overall performance of the car, averaging 49 miles to the gallon with a mixture of town and motorway driving. It has the optional bluetooth fitted which is much better than the BMW system and more user friendly. The steering wheel could be slighty smaller but everyone has their own opinion on size. The only bad point I have found up to now is the boot opening and when you close the boot it does not feel as solid as a BMW, but bear in mind the cost of an equivilant BMW would be about another 4,000 so would be alot to pay for a solid sounding close of a boot. Ok so it has not got parking sensors but for £200 a problem easily overcome, again cheaper than opting for BMW. Some people who have written negative reviews about Audi are obviously very picky people after all all mechanical things have faults. Humans are not perfect.!!
