    My car

I am experiencing problems with my audi a6 avant purchased july 06 it`s a 2.0ltr tdi cost £30,255 has a heap of extras ive put 10 ltrs of oil in it since new and its been taken away from me twice on a low loader the second time only 2 days after its first service its covered 19000 miles and i have informed the dealership and even took the car to a different dealer to look at about the excessive oil they told me to wait until the first oil service it would be rectifed . I wish i had rejected the car when it was taken away the first time on a low loader. My car was serviced in the dealership last friday 9th nov 07 it had a full service told them again about the oil consumption when i picked the car up it had also had a software update on the erg valve which caused the engine sensor fault previously. My car was parked on my drive all day sat and sun tues morn i took my children to school the car on the way misfired vibrated violently and once again there was an engine sensor fault and the car was taken away on a low loader need i say more i am now trying to gain a pro rata refund off the dealer and unfortunately even having owned 2 previous audis agree with Mr Richard Minkler don`t buy the A6 2.0ltr tdi either. There are too many comments regarding the same faults that have been published on this website If my problems are not resolved i will be contacting watchdog as i think this matter should be investigated for such a high priced vehical. WISH I HAD KEPT MY A4

    My car

Its a lovely car and bought from new Feb 2007. But it has a major problem with the engine management system and the manufacturers cannot rectify. They have had it in workshop for 3.5 months (now 19th oct) and is still there! It had only covered 4500 miles. They gave me a replacement but its not the same spec, and the replacement is doing the same thing. My advice dont buy the 2007 2.0 TDI version!

    My car

The perfect car for the rich person who has no idea what the words taste and style mean. As previously demonstrated by a previous person before me. He i one of many boring audi drivers. in fact the only interesting audis ever would be the original quatrro and the rs4. which audi has axed. Idiots... if you want fun go for an m5. if you want to be amazed and have perfect comfort get the mercedes e63amg

    My car

I have been very pleased with my new A6 Avant which I collected from Northampton Audi at the beginning of September. I chose the 2.7 'Le Mans' model which offered heated leather seats, rear acoustic parking sensors, an interior light package and metallic paint in addition to the S-Line spec - all for an extra £115.00! The car also had 19" 7-arm double-spoke alloys, which are also part of the limited edition 'Le Mans' pack. They look fabulous but make for a slightly firmer ride. Fuel consumption has been surprisingly good at an average of 41 mpg which pleased me for such a large car.

I avoided the multitronic gearbox and decided to go back to a manual which I do not regret. The manual gear change is effortless. I've had four Audis but this is by far the most luxurious, and fantastic to drive.

It initially seemed expensive to buy at just under £32,000 OTR but you do get a quality car, and value for money compared to any BMW or Mercedes equivalent. I recommend the budget fixed-cost maintenance plan which I took out at the time of purchase for just over £60 per month over 48 months. This guarantees peace of mind for all service, maintenance and parts, and includes a 4th year's warranty.

All in all another one of Audi's finest!
