There's great lift from a car so big. The cabin is not as spacious as I thought, but it's still a good car with great looks and a lot of power from the 4.2-litre engine.
I drove the A8 before they brought out the new one with the shield grill, and found it to be a great car - I would prefer it over the BMW 7 Series.
This is a fantastic car - I have owned for it for eight months and am very pleased to have the sport model over the SE. It has a harder ride but is more involving.
However, it is let down by niggles, currently ABS and ESP failures - I am yet to inform my dealer, so I will keep my fingers crossed.
I owned the previous A8 and the current version doesn't feel quite as bullet-proof, although it is still very good. It plays the executive role when needed, but it's also sporty when desired.
My local Audi sales division need some lessons in customer service - I have never bought there yet (unfortunately). Audi, take note.

I bought the car new in October. Now, 11 weeks later and after covering 10,000 miles, I am a very happy man. This is a fantastic car, and is very economical and comfortable. After a 600 mile drive, I get out as fresh as I started.
