I wrote a review on 20th January, having ordered car that day.
To cut a long story short, I still haven't taken delivery of the 2.0 TFSI, Audi blaming slow production due to too many new models launched at same time (Q7, R8, A5 and TT).
I'm told it'll arrive in the next 2-3 weeks, but have been told this for last six weeks. Surely five months is excessive? Is anyone else having the same problem? The anticipation is unbearable!
Ordered the car and within 2 weeks had the car, luckily for me was in the right place at the right time, managed to get a cancelled order. Silver, with red leather interior and some other bits! Had the car now 1 month, done 1000 miles and the car is fantastic, a real head turner, had a RX8 previously, similar performance but delivered in totally different manner, would say the handling is better on the RX8 but the TT more than makes up for this on looks and style alone. The poor part of ownership so far is the very poor customer service from the two dealers i have attempted to us so far and the unhelpfulness of Audi UK not what i was expecting from a premium brand like Audi, alot to learn from Honda!
I am now into my 4th week of ownership and how happy I am to have chosen this car.
Performance is a lot better than expected, looks are far less hairdresser like and it is an absolute dream to drive.
Anyone considering to buy this car make the right choice!
Ive had my new TT for about a month now and it is a fantastic car. My last car was the mk 1, 3.2 dsg TT and the new one wipes the floor with it. a 100% improvement on the old model in every way.
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
I once owned an 04 GT (the version with the stupidly heavy clutch - a built in gym for your left leg). I've driven both editions since and must say…
I bought my TT 2 years ago, second hand (99 model)with 40k on the clock. Since then it has done 40 more. Service costs have been £250 a time. Timing…
