    My car

Wow, been used to fast cars before in the past but dropped down to a diesel for 5 years, then I got this, be it a mid life crisis or not but wow it was worth it to hit 40.

This Car is what we might call outstanding, it performs as if it was built for the train track, you turn the wheel and guess what, it goes just where you want it to.

I got the 2.0t as everyone said you just dont need the 3.2 litre, I took lots of extras. The only extra that I wouldnt say is worth the money is the bose speakers, my Vectra seems just as good.

Sahara Silver with the brown roof is the colour I choose, it looks great, even when it gets a little dirty, this car does turn a few heads as you go through the city of Norwich, People just are not use to seeing them yet.

I AM getting on average 29 mpg on a tank of petroL but you dont buy this car for the MPG, it is the sheer performance that does it for you.

I would prefer a spare wheel compared to the pump but heyhoo thats what the AA are there for isnt it.

Insurance was just over £500 fully comp with protected no claims with Norwich Union, so not much more than a family saloon.

if you can afford to wait 5 months for the car of your choice then get this,if you can afford to wait 2 years then get the Audi R8.

All in all it is worth ***** on all aspects of this car. Mine cost £30K, & I was offered £31K 1 week after by someone who just couldnt wait, Guess what Didnt sell.

    My car

I fell in love with the TT when I test drove it. It offers a really sporty drive. I must admit I drove the 3.2lt V6 but I blindly bought the 2.0lt. All the reviews I read beforehand were recommending the 2.0lt and how right they were. I am not regretting it!

Just buy one and find the best B roads to drive it. A pleasure. The automatic gearbox shifts effortlessly up and down. It is fast and responsive, and the handling superb. Who would need Quattro? Over-engineering!

A couple of minor points: The roof needs continuous push of the button to move. Why? Also, it cannot be done through the key as you approach a car. Rear view is tricky with the roof up.

But as said, these are minor details for a really handsome and impressively fast car.

    My car

This car is fantastic fun to drive. I test drove both 2.0 and 3.2 - thought 2.0 was a better drive and sales staff agreed.

No regrets at all about the car. Compared with the A4 Cab (my previous car), it has much better visibility with roof up, but slightly less protection from wind buffeting with roof down.

Colour choice not great - sahara silver looks distinctly gold in some lights and I wouldn't get it again. The lack of even a space saver is a pain when having a puncture with the car just three weeks old. The pump and filler kit makes no difference, and no-one has the tyre in stock.

Even so, I'm very happy to have it.

    My car

I have now had the TT for three months.

It's difficult to judge how wide the car is when parking and it's not good on fuel consumption (but you don't buy this car to drive at 30mph!).

These apart, it is fab. In town it is agile and responsive and very quick; on the motorway it holds its own and feels like a powerful thoroughbred, and on country roads it is awesome - it holds the road amazingly and it can't wait to get out there.

The best analogy I can think of is that it is like a young racehorse!

The roof is great and folds away neatly. I have driven from London to Scotland with the roof down and didn't get too blown around and it doesn't rattle.

Buy one, it won't let you down.
