    My car

Had the car for a week. Px a Golf R32 which I only had 3 weeks - game me chronic back ache. Looked for something more comfortable but still quick - a friend recommended the diesel - how right he was! Well made cabin which is very comfortable, great speed/acceleration. MPG at 48 so far and climbing (41 when I collected). Makes the golf seem plasticky in comparison. Steering, grip, ride all great. To top it off i got a 6mth old demo car in le mans blue with lots of options (£25k list) for just £17450. A steal. I love it!

    My car

Great car and perfect choice as a company car if the size is okay. Qualifies for 13% tax as the emissions are below 120g/km. This means despite the higher list price it has saved me over £30 a month on my previous gt sport 2.0 tdi.

A much more refined car than the Golf and although the Golf was a car good this is a much better drive. Economy is okay but don't expect to get near the manufacturers claims - I don't know how they achieved those!

A lot of reviews comment on the poor hard ride of the M Sport but it is much more composed and forgiving than the gittery ride of my previous GT Sport Golf, it is a bit firm but who cares when it handles this well.

The boot is reasonably sized too and comparable with other hatches of this size.

All in all a very good quality car with an excellant drive and cheap running costs £35 tax and first service not due till 24K miles?

    My car

I totally disagree with the last review. I have owned my 120d SE with dynamic & comfort packs for the last 6 months, it is just over a year old and is wonderful to drive. I cover around 350-450 miles per week on mixture of roads and it does not put a foot wrong. Economy is at 53MPG (officially 58+) for which I'm more than happy with considering the superb performance from this diesel engine. With more discipline this will improve further i'm sure. The efficient dynamics package is brilliant with the stop/start and gear change indicator great features. I cannot fault the equipment level as I have a high spec car and the overal quality and finish is fine. As for practicality, I have a small family and do not encounter major problems. The boot is an awkward shape but it will still take pram etc, no problem. Having previously owned Golf/Audi TDI's, and although good cars, I will be sticking with BMW, brilliant car!

    My car

This is my 7th BMW, having previously owned several 3 series and a 5 series so expectations were high. Performance and economy areexcellent. Ride is too firm for most, interior quality is definately not up to usual BMW standard. Seats stain very easily, plastics are inferior to other BMW models. Boot size is a joke, as is the rear leg room. Equipment levels are shockingly poor. This car was £19,400 and it has no cup holder, no leather steering wheel, no arm rest, no climate control, no heated mirrors and a poor quality stereo. Only worth considering as a company car.
