    My car

I took my car down to Italy for a two-week break and the car was impeccable.

It returned good fuel economy, and performance from the 2.5 was more than adequate.

The roof never failed to open or close properly. The handling was outstanding and the car feels very solid for a convertible.

I'm very pleased with the purchase.

    My car

My wife just picked up the 335SE, but I don't really know what it is like to drive, because the fuel pump went after two days.

I seem to have had more luck with our dealership than I have seen in other reviews, as it was turned around in two days.

I will add to the review later, when hopefully we will have achieved some miles. We're planning to take it to France - I hope BMW Assist speak English.

    My car

I bought this car brand new and drove out of the showroom in a beautiful car.

I have that the car for four months now and about three weeks ago the car went in with a rattle. Whilst the engineer was fixing the rattle he broke the boot divide, so we had to wait for a part. Then, today it was hot, so I decided to take the roof off, and everything was fine. I put it up and still it was fine.

When I went to take it down again, it got stuck half up and half down, and I had to start and stop the engine multiple times for the roof to close inch by inch, and it wouldn't lock into place. BMW assist didn't consider the car an emergency as it was driveable.

However, someone I know has the same car and he is waiting for BMW to replace it as it has been in many, many times. The roof gets stuck half up and half down. If the roof didn't do this, the car would be a great car to drive.

    My car

I have every sympathy when reading the review made by the gentleman who is currently awaiting a fuel pump from Germany. I bought a brand new 325i SE 'hard top' convertible and really enjoyed driving it. After less than four weeks and 600 miles, however, it broke down. I too had to wait for a new fuel pump. BMW were extremely unhelpful and wouldn't give me a date. After four weeks I did finally get the car back.

Two weeks later on a sunny afternoon, I was again enjoying driving the car with the roof down. The trouble was, when trying to put the roof back up again, it wouldn't close properly. So I had another visit from customer services, who couldn't close it either. That happened four weeks ago tomorrow and, guess what, it's still parked at the dealership waiting for a part from Germany. Apparently the part's due to arrive next week although they did say that last week.

BMW, please stop using your loyal customers to test your new vehicles for faults for you. Do it yourselves first please.
