    My car

I bought a fully specified ex-demo 335i auto in February as a replacement for my Z4 2.5, and have covered about 4500 miles to date. This car is superb - I cannot recommend it enough. It has stupendous power and torque, yet cruises quitely and economically (upto 32 mpg) when not pressing on. I am averaging 27 mpg which I think is great for a 3 litre turbocharged auto. The gearbox is totally matched to the engine, and there is no need to use the paddles or sports mode -but both are fun on a back country road. The i-drive took some time to come to grips with, but the voice activation of most controls negates the need to use it regularly. The car is also very comfortable and practical with a spacious boot and folding rear seats. The only downside is the new top band road tax, but the car is so so good I will live with that.

    My car

I previously owned an M3 convertible, and was worried about loosing the open top and the wild M3 engine. The 335i kept a wide smile on my face, a lot more comfortable and just about as quick. The toys in there are really great, but the engine alone is worth everything !! thank you bmw for such a practical wolf in sheep's clothing !!

    My car

I pick up my new 335d coupe on the 10th Nov 2006 and instantly realised this was no ordinary car. I drive regulary from the UK to Germany for work and have found that the car has presence even with super car such as a Aston martin DB9 which was unable to shake my 335d on the autobahn. Also the fuel consumption is quite amazing even at very hign speeds i still getting 28+. But most of all having parked my car in koln germany the amount of people that stop and have a good look around the car has amazed both my friends and myself. So what can i say it's the car to have as i did alot of investigation before buying and only the Audi A5 would come close but it's not in production yet. ps i'm a automotive design engineer so knowing the product is very important to me as i work in the industry. So 5 stars and if you have the chance to buy one you will be very satisfied.

    My car

Had my car about a month now and, now it's fully run in, love it. The power is always on tap from any area of the rev range and delivered smoothly with little lag. Acceleration can be savage when you want to, but it is also a great cruiser on long distances. It's a bit of a beast round town with the heavy steering, but this is only noticeable because I've always had FWD hatchbacks before this. Around town it does eat the petrol a bit, but at a reasonable pace on the motorway it's very efficient. Interior is simple, functional, laid out well and I love the little touches like the ambient lighting and the seatbelt hander. I don't have the idrive as I found it a bit slow on the test car. I had no issues with my dealer, ordered the car and picked it up less than three weeks later, no problem. In summary, i am well happy with it and can't recommend it enough.
