    My car

    I have driven one of the new 320ds for over a week. It was an automatic with SE spec. I found the gearbox amazing although I'd probably still opt for the manual car.

    Most impressive compared to the E46 is the level of refinement and the very low noise level. It is still a real driver's car! Very good economy too (7.5 l/100 km while running in).

    My car

    Outstanding car but let down by interior equipment - however if you add leather and climate then this pushes it far up my scale.

    One issue is boot space, which is smaller than the Audi or Mondeo, and with small kids this is a problem. Other than that, I would have another one immediately.
