A great drive but after one year of ownership I have chronic lower backache and a dead right leg.
It's an excellent driver's car but around town it can be heavy on fuel, even if driven carefully.
It's very reliable - just get in and go be it a trip around town or a blast down the country.
All in all a great buy.
The 528i is great in every way. It has great handling and performance. The looks are spectacular inside and outside. I have recently brought some new 18 inch alloys which make the car look even better.
Great to drive - especially on a long journey; when you get out you feel relaxed. It is very quiet and the engine is very responsive. I find that third gear is very addapable to most speeds and picks up quickly from slow speeds.
I have had this car for two years now and will find it very hard to replace with another vehicle unless it is another BMW. I will probably replace it in 1 to 2 years with the slightly later model with the 170bhp engine. Although I find that the critisism that this model is slightly underpowered is a bit harsh as at higher revs its OK.
