This is a large sports convertible with great performance and surprisingly to some, a head turner!
My vehcile is fully equiped with virtiually all extras, retailing at just under £70k (which includes 5 years' servicing and warranty - strongly recommended) but what a vehicle.
I find the car can be a lazy cruiser or a fast sports coupe/convertible. There is little body scuttle or road noise and - unlike my previous vehicle, which was a 2004 M3 - it has more rear space for carrying four people and is a much quiter and more versatile all round vehicle, all for around a second's reduction in acceleration (and £20k extra I guess!).
The only down side to the vehicle is its size, especially when parking, but with the use of door mirrors and the excellent PDC, which is both audible and visual on screen, this is pretty much mitigated.
Fuel consumption is pretty low though, averaging around 15/16 mpg, but about the same as my M3.
Overall, this is a great vehcile to drive and still quite rare on the roads, which for a BMW or Merc or Porshe these days is an unusual thing to say.
Very desirable and has a great street image. I am concerned at future residuals as the trade are quoting a fifty percent drop by the end of the third year, which is a big hit on a car costing over £60,000.
Very fast, great fun with the top down. Cornering to die for. However, far too many problems with reliability; a BMW costing this much should not have to spend as much time in the garage!
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
