    My car

This car is very comfortable and a great car to drive! It sticks to the road and has awesome acceleration for a car of its size. In my eyes the 7 Series is top of the class and the opposition has a lot of work to do if they want to beat the 7 Series.

The highlight of this car is the engine noise and the driving comfort. I would recommend the car to anyone! The best in my eyes is the 745i.

    My car

I am a professional driver with 2 of these cars in my care, so far (nearly 3 years) they have both been reliable but with only 23000kms they should be, having said that never allow yourself a flat battery as the computer has to be reset and costs a bundle! I believe it has a flat battery fail-safe which obviously didn't work.

The boot is a joke for a car this size; I much prefer to use the Mercedes E class for airport runs.

On the highway the car is faultless although a speeding ticket magnet, when pushed on "A" type roads it is surprisingly agile and can surprise sports car drivers who don't think a limo should be able to keep up! In town I don't find the take off to be as smooth as I'd expect for a car of this class.

Personally I think its a bit claustrophobic and I don't find the seat and driving position as comfortable as even the E class Merc and the I-Drive is a pain in the ***, I think the designers thought "We've made an excellent sporting limo...Now let's make controls so complicated that nobody will really enjoy it"

In short, a lovely car but there are better cars available for a less money.

    My car

Fabulous at the basics of getting from A to B in some comfort. Has a presence on the Motorway whereby people get out of your way even when you don't want them to! Better mpg than my previous 525i SE.

However,at these prices, the devil is in the detail. On my first major business trip had to go back to my Tom Tom Go because the SatNav didn't recognise a main road in London..iDrive is very backward compared with much of the technology in my life.

The dealer (Vines in Guldford) very good at selling the vision, but the need to get the car out double quick meant that I was calling BMW assist re a major wiper failure 48hrs later

    My car

This was my second 7 series, prior to this I had the "old" shape 728i petrol which was an absolutlely fabulous car to drive. However I'm reviewing the current model so - put simply it isn't a patch on the old model, I liked the i-drive but I didn't like the new combination of warning lights I got every week, the dealer (Premier of Llandudno) were fantastic, the reliability of the car wasn't. It was a better drive than the S class but in the end it wasn't reliable enough for me so I bought an XJ-6 instead.
