    My car

Very frugal version of the X3: I'm getting 37mpg average over 3500 miles, that's over 550 miles per tank. Service costs are low and every 20,000 miles and residuals should be strong. I love everything about it, apart from some slightly shiny plastics and the appalling ride. However, I can't think of another car that's as cheap to run, fun to drive both on and off-road and can handle mountain bikes, luggage and four adults with room to spare. Just glad it doesn't have run-flat tyres and I suppose it does keep you awake on a long journey. My local dealer has been attentive and pleasant to deal with at all times and I have recommended them several times so far. I have yet to use their Service department, however, I have heard good reports and expect them to continue their excellent record.

    My car

Good car at the right price - ie under 30,000. I waited over a year for the diesel - would not consider any large 4x4 petrol.

    My car

This is a very expensive car for what it is. I bought this car when it first came out and paid £38,000.

It's very bouncy, it costs me nearly £60 per week in petrol and the car is very basic and needs a fortune of extras to make it special.

Avoid it at all costs. You can buy something very special for the same money, if not less.

    My car

    A very strong sporty car.

When I ordered the car I had no idea as what it looked like. When I took delivery I was disappointed with quality of the plastic in the dash. But after couple of drives I kind of settled with the fact overall performance and ride overturn this minor cosmetic ugliness!!

Indeed it's worth every penny paid for it. It is an ideal SUV.
