Great car with fantastic hanlding and "smile on your face" motoring, especially when the sun is out and the roof is down!

I've only owned the car since Christmas Eve 2004! However, reading the other reviews I'm very nervous about what to expect regarding quality. I bought the car with 2400 miles and only 4 months old. Everything works perfectly and I'm totally in love with it.

The lines of the car really shouldn't work at all, a bit like looking at Uma Thurman - a little unusual but intriguingly gorgeous - and the driving position is fantastic with that poweful curve of the bonnet ahead of you. It feels like the car wants to take you to the horizon as fast as you would want it to, with a deep snarl to that creamy smooth straight six as the theme tune.

The only negative point so far is the dealership and the paintwork. As for rattles and squeaks, show me a roadster that is completely silent. An no matter how much money you spend on your trusty steed, there will always be quality issues.

Purchased a demo model, first registered in June 2003, picked it up in September 2003. It has been absolutely brilliant, performance and fuel economy knocks the Boxster. A great roadster!

I got the car brand new in November 2003

It was only two days before problems started to occur - engine shut down during cold start and rubber weather-strip detaching.

Then the problems continued, the car spent five out of the 12 months of its first year undergoing repairs, such as malfunctioning xenons, faulty electronic steering, broken third brake light, loose window, popping bonnet while driving, numerous rattles on the door/rubber strip and roll bars area, loud creaking of suspension.

Both the car and the service support have been terrible. Totally not recommended.
