I've just confirmed my order for a 3-dr Vibe model in Black and can't wait to take delievery! The car may be as some point out less than overly equiped but at this price what do we expect? The C1 is brilliant for anyone who wants a good looking cheap car and as a student I fall into that club.
I was supprised when I climbed into the driving seat having prepared myself for an average driving exprience, but what I got was alot different... The car was responive and eager with plenty of power to shift it along, without making too much noise... THIS IS AN ACE SMALL CAR WELL DONE CITROEN!!!
I have been looking at the C1 for a while, my parents both have Citroen's and have had little trouble. So last week when my father picked his new Berlingo up I decided to test drive a C1. The exterior looks are quirky and might put some people off, once inside though the C1 breaks the Citroen traditions of trim quality. The layout and materials are all excellant for the outlay of the vehicle.
The C1 gets even better on the road, it is sharp and taught even at motorway speeds the engine doesn't sound to loud. The driving position may not be too everyones liking. The car is an absolute cracker...it makes you wonder why people go and spend 10K+ on a small hatchback, well done Citroen.
This car is the best value for money car I have owned. It cost me just £5300 OTR (from www.drivethedeal.com) in May 2006 and I was recently offered £5000 for PX. That's awesome retention value.
It returns great fuel economy (close to 60mpg), costs £40 for road tax and peanuts to insure. It's fun to drive and looks great from any angle.
It amazes me that people knock this car - yes, it has its faults (what car doesn't) but it costs next to nothing to buy and holds its value well. My other car bought new at the same time has depreciated more than this car is worth in the same eight months!
The car is a doddle to park and in my opinion the best town car you can buy. It's just perfect for its purpose.
Well done Citroen/Peugeot/Toyota.
I've had this car for a week now and I can't find anything to say bad about it. My last car was a Nissan Micra. I only had it for one-and-a-half years and had to take it for about four services. Also, can anyone tell me how long it takes to run a full tank of petrol down on this car?
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
