    My car

This car has to be one of the worst vehicles I have EVER driven. There is very little I can mention that redeems any of the many bad points about the car. Here are the top 5 in my opinion ... 1) The interior plastics are really cheap and nasty (seriously). 2) The gear box feels like it belongs on a much bigger car - there is a hell of a distance between all the gears (feels like you're stiring a bowl of soup or something). 3) Corners awfully - I have seen several toppled/flipped, perhaps due to the fact the car handles more like a boat than a car. 4) It's a successor for the equally dire Saxo, thus insurance companies do not reward you with a nice low premium (despite the awfulness of the car). 5) The back of the car is smaller than the C1/Aygo/107, so what is the point of spending on a bigger car for less space? Car is not that great around town (quite a poor turning circle). Also terrible on faster roads (national speed limit). Found it somewhat dangerous on motorway - accelerates VERY slowly. There is far more you can find wrong with the car - I suppose it gets from A to B in the best argument for buying one.

    My car

I bought this car for my wife almost a year ago, and she uses it entirely to potter around town in. Therefore, the fuel consumption is quite poor (about 30mpg).

However, there is plenty to like about this car - it's really quick (particularly acceleration from rest), is easy to drive and park and can easily cope with 2 children and shopping in the back.

The usual gripes that other reviewers have mentioned do detract slightly from the overall enjoyment (jerky gearchanges at times, no air-con, poor quality plastics, tinny feel), but as a town car not having to use a clutch to change gear is a boon. Insurance is cheap (even for this warm version), running costs are low (servicing doesn't cost a lot), and it cost me less than £5k for a 54 plate with 19,000 miles on the clock.

If you go into a C2 purchase with your eyes open to the little foibles then you'll end up feeling positive about the ownership experience of this funkly little car.
