    My car

    C3XTR April05. (Have 1.4HDI not 1.6 HDI.) 49000 same brakes.4 tyres 44000(better than normal wear), Headlight bulbs renewed 07.

Paint & plastic good 1 stone chip bonnet. Screen, replace screen 07 £250.00 that's what happens if you drive Motorways close to vehicle in front.

Problems engine warning lamp 7/8 times 1st 6/9 mths but never affected performance, pain taking into dealer, resolved in end.

Problem with headlight filling with water replaced under warrant, liked it turning green with algae thinking keeping Gold fish (As song goes you can't take a Goldfish for a walk, but you can sure take them for a ride in your headlight.)

Wind noise, odd rattle plastic parts however, I have just enjoyed driving this supermini.

Steering wheel is showing signs of wear. No longer make XTR trading in for C3 1.4hdi CACHET on a bit of a deal, got in just before £400 price hike. Model congestion free from 27 October after £10 registration fee.£35.00 Road fund XTR also on new CACHET.

Top performance regards fuel consumption big consideration when you think price of fuel. Under rated vehicle for price & in class taking into account little cramped in back but dog just loves ride & big rear window.

It has minor draw backs but pros out weight cons. Just love C3 changing to give me a further 3 years warrant & top service. Can't understand Whatcar review perhaps they drove it for a few hours not years but believe C3 value for money

    My car

Owned this car when just turned 3 years old and to start with I had no problems, especially as it was Exclusive spec (fully loaded).

Then the rot set in. When I was driving the car I felt sleepy (very dangerous). I took it to my local Citroen dealer and was told there were fumes leaking into the car through the air vents and refused to let it out of there workshop until sorted.

Three injectors later new fuel lines, gaskets seals, exhaust mid section and £975 in the wallet lighter I picked the car up. It had two wheel bearings fail as well.

Trim fell off and numerous other faults. I wrote to Citroen UK and phoned them and was basically given the finger and told tough. They totally refused to help me in any way.

I now have a C4 2006 hdi 1.6 92bhp and now that's beginning to cause problems. The different dealer I use now is much better but I'm totally sick of Citroen's lack of interest in customer service, especially when I spent in the region of £15k on this car.

They are basically not interested in looking after their customers. I am now trading in my C4 and purchasing another make (Luton's finest) and touch wood I won't have to be screaming in frustration anymore.

    My car

Bought September 07, 02 plate 40,000 miles... I really liked this car when I first bought it, traded in a 1.0 polo. have the c3 for 3 months and now, ...rear brake light broke... ...broke down needed new coil pack... ...broke down again (miss firing) needed new plugs... ...oxygen sensors went... ...catalytic converters gone... ...and its very economical at around 13-15 miles per gallon... I HATE THIS CAR WISH I STUCK WITH MY 1.0 POLO!

    My car

This car looks quirky and fun. Sadly the fun part soon wore thin with me.There were minor niggles such as half the lights on the centre console failing, the lack of power needed to get up hills, and a headlight cover which always seems to be full of water,so much so, that I almost considered buying a pet goldfish. But then the real problems seemed to come all at once. First it lost all power, on a hill, at a traffic light. The coil pack had to be replaced after an engine misfire, and then the auto diagnostic light came on. I had it checked out several times but no-one could tell me why the light was on although they did find other faults along the way. No matter what, within 2 days the light was back on again. After over £700 in the last two weeks I've had it with this car, the quirkiness can't possibly make up for draining me dry of money and having to drive every day with that relentless orange light glaring at me from the dashboard telling me there's something wrong. Something is indeed wrong,I was wrong for buying the car in the first place! So,I've been out this morning and a trade-in is in progress as I type. I do feel sorry for the next owner, but don't feel that the offer of a free goldfish will be much compensation so I'll keep quiet.
