    My car

    You get what you pay for in this life. I have always had a need for a 4X4 with a reasonable wade height, towing capacity and generous interior space. Previous to the Korando I had a Lada Niva, which was very difficult to drive but very very cheap to run.

    The Korando is fun to own and fun to drive. It is returning approx 30 to the gallon and my insurance is a mere £171 per year i.e. the square root of ...not much.

    It is very practical and the fact that Mercedes built the very capable engine is a big comfort.

    Superb value for money. If you're bothered about getting funny looks and being trendy in a smart motor then don't buy one - I don't care about such things and am very happy with the car.
