This car has a very quiet and surprisingly quick engine. It's difficult to shake of my wife in the Fiesta when I'm in my Mondeo ST24!
I bought the car three years ago second-hand with 30,000 miles. I have done my own servicing and it has only required an exhaust and normal service items in that time.
It has no faults whatsoever, has unbelievably low running costs, and the car has hardly cost a bean to run.
It is also very reliable, and has never failed to start.
I definitely recommend it. Just be choosy and pick a decent second-hand one with plenty of service history.
I bought my Freestyle for £3k last July. It had only done 19,800 miles (Y-reg) and has just turned over onto 24,000. I am very pleased with it, a full tank of petrol lasts me 2 weeks and the handling is superb. Motorway driving is a doddle, i am always in the fast lane and the response is awesome. Its the best looking fiesta by far and with alloys, electrics as standard its good value for money. Had no problems with it at all so far, i would highly recommend this model!
I have a 1997 LX, I haven't owned it long but so far it has been brilliant! It is a great little runner on the motorway and on normal roads, although... quite easy to speed. The only problem I have had is that the drivers door wont unlock from the outside, I have to go through the passenger door and look slightly like I'm going to steal it. Have warranty and hope this is covered. Has anyone else had this problem because apparently it's quite common? Will keep you updated on how easy it is to fix and price etc... If anyone else has had this problem and could let me know that would be brilliant.
It is a lovely little car to drive! I bought it for £995 and to me at least it seems fantastic.
Probably the best car in its class. Stills a gem after 10 years of age. Competent ride, fine handling, superb 1.25 engine, exceptional brakes and high reliability shame its younger rivals.

I have owned this car for almost 2 years, bought from a used dealer with 60k on and later found it was a ex rental car.... the insurance was cheap…
Ive had this car for one year now and so far has exeeded my expectations. The car is great at overtaking lorries on the motorway and handles very…
