    My car

having driven my fiesta for the first time since passing my driving test, ive rung my instructor and told her to get one of these cars instead of her 08 reg Clio. The gearbox is sharp, the steering is nice and weighty is a joy. Interior plastics aren't fantastic, to be honest they're quite poor, but the equipment makes up for that, (mines got A/C) and a big boot. The 1.25 engine is a beauty, smooth and powerful and suits the sporty nature of the chassis.

    My car

BUYERS BEWARE OF AN EXISTING PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING RACK AND PUMP ON THE FIESTA. OUR 05 FINESSE WITH JUST OVER 20,000 DEVEOLPED A FLUID LEAK WHICH CAME FROM THE SEALED UNIT STEERING RACK. ON LOOKING AT WEB COMMENTS ON THIS, IT SEEMS A VERY COMMON AND VERY EXPENSIVE PROBLEM. WHOLE RACK NEEDS REPLACING AT A COST OF MANY HUNDREDS OF POUNDS (FORD DEALER QUOTES RANGE FROM £600 TO OVER £1000)IF THAT IS NOT ENOUGH THEN REPLACED RACKS HAVE ALSO FAILED AFTER AROUND K20.

    My car

i passed my test in jan 2008 and soon as i saw the car i was in love !! i have now owned the car for 10 months and it has been wonderful, however i have had some supension problems such as coils link rods and supension bushes but that was miss use from previous ownwers! the engine fights above its belt its only a little 1.25 but from driving other fiestas this is definately the engine to choose. it absolutly kills any of the other little superminis off the line i.e corsa, micra and clio! it is a very nippy car just be careful with speed and corners as i know from experience. the interior is nice and i have coloured coded seats which looks good.... all together the best thing bout the car is the engine but just be careful of supension problems
