    My car

I've owned my present 2005 dual Ford/Volkswagen build Galaxy 1.9 TDi zetec for nearly three years and found it extrememy good all round. When a boy racer decided to cross the carriageway and crash into my vehicle it was in for repair for 4 weeks. During the repair time I was given a new Ford Galaxy 1.8TDi Ghia for the period. I must say it was really good to drive. The roll on roundabouts was near zero compared to my own car since its lower profile aids this. Economy wise, I travelled nearly 1500 miles and returned 44.3mpg under various driving conditions. The best was 47.7mpg by the onboard trip computer. Acceleration was impressive, no flat spots, almost instantaneous. The clutch release to biting was quite short and a little keener than my own, but I got used to it quickly. I found the rear-most "in floor" flat storage seats hard to pull up, maybe because they were brand new and stiff. The sound system with Mp3 playback was excellent for a standard fit item. I liked the car so much that I've just ordered a new Galaxy Ghia 1.8TDCi 125 for delivery mid April 2008. I am sure I won't be disappointed if it compares to the hire vehicle.

    My car

I have owned the Espace, Discovery, XC90, V70 and A4 Avant and have just changed last month to the Galaxy. It is quiet to drive, soaks up the bumps, fantastic space, beautifully finished, and I can say out of all the cars I've owned the best family package available. Well done Ford! Now we will see how it stands the time test.......

    My car

I BOUGHT THIS CAR END SEPT 2006. ITS THE WORST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED! IN THE 16 MTHS I'VE HAD IT,IT HAS SPENT 5 1/2 MONTHS IN THE GARAGE. IT HAS HAD A NEW TURBO, 3 NEW STEERING COLUMNS, FLAT BATTERY NO REASON,2 NEW WINDOW REGULATORS, NEW LAMINATE ROOF,NEW CLUTCH AND FLY WHEEL,NEW PIPE FOR STEERING COLUMN, RATTLE BEHIND DASH, BURNT OUT WIPER MOTOR. TO CROWN IT ALL MY CAR HAS BEEN DAMAGED ON 2 OCCASIONS WHILE AT THE GARAGE LA MOTTE,JERSEY WITH 2 BACK PANEL DENTS AND A LONG STRATCH. ITS ONLY DONE 6500 MILES! I'VE ASKED FOR AN EXCHANGE BUT LA MOTTE SAY I HAVE TO PAY £4500 TOWARDS A NEW ONE OR £2500 FOR AN EX FLEET WITHOUT A PANORAMIC ROOF - WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! DISGUSTING SERVICE AND VERY RUDE MD! VERY UPSET!

    My car

I replaced my Audi A4 Sport with this car as I needed more seats. I am afraid to say, I do not miss my Audi. This car has everything the Audi had and a lot more. It handles and accelerates like a dream. I have had this car for over 3 months and have driven it for almost 3000 miles. No problems encountered. The only unusual thing is that the trip computer has never given me an average of above 43mpg - regardless of the driving conditions. In town it usually gives 39mpg. I suspect that the economy derived from this car in real life is not as high as mentioned in the glossy brochures, but it is good enough for the size of the car and the engine.

I did lots of research prior to choosing this car. Amongst the 7 seater MPVs there is no rival! Remember, this car does not have a spare wheel, but a special puncture repair kit. This is true for a lot of new cars on the market, and it is not a major issue.

Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this car.
