    My car

I have had my streetka now for a year.

I bought it last year when it was 3 years old, so its a 53reg, I have the luxury model and I find all of the extras make the car.

I have never had any leaks with the car and its great to drive roof up or down.

I bought the car with 7000 miles on the clock and in my year of owning I have done 20000 miles and had problem free motoring.

As most people I find it very heavy on juice and this is the cars only down fall.

I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a fun summer car!!!

I would not change it for the world accept for maybe a newer model!!

    My car

I have a late 2005 (55 reg) Streetka Red Limited Edition in Silver - I love it, love it, love it.

I bought it from Arnold Clark at one year old for £8,200 (£13,995 new), so I think it's over its huge depreciation drop.

It has a fairly hard suspension which I love. It could do with a bit more bhp on pulling away but once moving, it shifts! I have driven everything from a Mini to a Merc, but I have to say this is the best car I have owned. Remember it is a small sporty convertible, so practicality goes out of the window - or maybe not.

It has very good boot space, the hood is quiet for a convertible, the back window a bit poor but that's what mirrors are for! It has very comfortable seats that hold you in when flinging the car about which you cannot help doing! Fuel economy is not too bad, but you do tend to drive heavy right-footed.

It looks great, sounds great and the wife loves it, too. When its paid off I'm going to keep it and buy another car for everyday and use this on nice days only. Who needs an MGB Roadster?

    My car

I loved the look of this car and wanted one as soon as I first saw it - I never thought I'd actually get one, though, but after some encouragement from friends and family, I decided to treat myself.

I have now owned a 2003 StreetKa Luxury for thee months and I have really enjoyed it as it is the first soft top car I have had. I do agree that it has some rattles and is quite bumpy occasionally, and it drinks petrol quite a bit faster than my previous car, but overall I have no major complaints. I also love the attention when driving with the roof down!

As for leaks and engine failures, I have experienced neither and hope I never do. The only problem I have had is on two seperate occasions, people have hit my car while it was parked and driven off, leaving me to pay for the damage. I think I need to start choosing where O park more carefully.

This car suits me perfectly and I am very glad I bought it.
