I test drove this car and instantly fell in love with it. Everything about it from the purr of the engine to the handling was superb.
I put an offer in for it instantly and have not looked back since. I previously owned a Honda Civic 1.4i SE, so there is no comparison really! I just decided I wanted a fun car whilst I was still young and could afford one.
The car is not that good on petrol, but what can you expect from a V6? It is a dream to drive, especially on the mororway where it really comes into its own.
The acceleration, even in fifth gear is absolutely superb. There is virtually no road noise.
Even at idling speed you would struggle to hear the engine at all, even though it has done 60,000 miles.
Equipment is superb, with electric everything. Another major factor in me buying this car was the fantastic leg room on offer. At 6' 3" this is important to me, and I can stretch my legs out fully in this car.
I would definetly recommend to anyone thinking about it to buy one. I picked mine up for £3995 - bargain!
I bought this car in 1999 and it has brought nothing but a smile to my face ever since.
Its handling and performance are extraordinary in a family car that is equally at home both pootling the sprogs to school and causing anxiety attacks in 944 drivers who have no idea what it is.
The engine feels great and responsive, the chassis keeps me feeling secure but in control and comfort and ride levels are good.
These cars have suffered on the depreciation stakes but if you can find a good one, it would make an excellent second-hand buy. I wouldn't have missed it and heartly recommend the beast.
(It's the best car since the Renault 21 turbo.)

Had this car for 90k from new. A 56 plate. In over 2,000,000 miles driven this one has broken down the most of any car I have had. DO NOT get a 2.0…
