    My car

I have never taken so much time chosing the right car (3 months) reading all the reviews, test driving all contenders and comparing all the options. Then I had to decide which car fitted by budget and also which car fitted my family of 3 boys from 7 to 16 and finally fitted my very large 6ft 6in 17 stone frame. A tough criteria then, a hard choice? Not in the slightest, the S Max ticked all the boxes and some.

Having gone from a Mondeo the S Max is our first people carrier and we are all overwhelmed by the space and build quality. The third row seats are not able to accomodate a man of my size but hey i'm the one driving so it will never be a problem, my 2 younger lads fit in with ease as do their mates when i do the football club run.

The fold down seats are a doddle and I have already benifited from the load size on a couple of trips to the tip with an old 3 seater setee and a single bed.

The fuel consumption is about the same as my last Mondeo returning 32 mpg at the moment, the ride is firm with very responsive steering and the seats are perfectly positioned.

Like the previous review i would have liked to have mirrors that automatically turn in as the size is tempting fate and i know someones going to clip them soon. Also I would have like to have roof bars as standard.

Overall the S Max is a real driver's car with room for the kids, their friends and the feel good factor it gives you.
