Having reluctantly agreed with my wife that with 3 children and a frisky dog, the need for a 7 seater was inevitable. I therefore decided to go for the 2.5 Titanium option with full leather as a compromise to the loss of my beloved BMW 520. To date I have had no real problems, except for the electric windows being somewhat hesitant to close.. The engine is very quick, but very thirsty.. long runs will return about 350 miles to a full tank (£70.00). Lovely to drive, especially on the motorway.. Overall, very pleased, but wish black was easier to keep clean !
I have had my car for almost 2 years and the car is great to drive. If you have a family and travel around the UK you will be pleased.
There are things that bug me; No spare tire which is a completely joke; Shopping falls out of the boot when you open it. Ford needs to sort out those problems or I will not be getting another one when my leasing agreement expires.
I have a 2.5 Titanium model.
I think this is a very good, practical car. It is fun to drive, it looks great and you do not feel like you are in an MPV at all.
Had Ford invested more in the quality of the interior materials it would be perfect. I do not believe that adding a bit of quality would add significantly to the final price.
The only problem I have experienced is a completely empty battery after returing from a week-long holiday. Our dealer (the only Ford dealer in Latvia) claimed this is perfectly normal.
Otherwise - well done Ford!
A superb car ,well thought out features ruined by apalling reliability. In 6 weeks ownership i have been recovered twice with a starting problem (engine malfunction & immobliser warnings)in addition to returning the car a couple of times. This time the computer is showing several problems, unlike previous times.Dealer very apologetic and genuinley upset about my plight. They have loaned me a Directors Mondeo ST.Its my car that is the problem not the dealer.
This has been an excellent family car for us over…
We bought a second hand 02 plate Picasso about 3…
