    My car

Had this car for 18 months now and absolutely love it. Had the convers+ console replaced under warranty by dealers and a couple of other minor niggles all sorted. Build quality is excellent inside and out. I still get a thrill when I get in the car and look around it. Even the piano black centre console has remained unmarked. Had to replace front tyres at 16500, rears are fine. Never manage more than 20mpg but I do tend to do a lot of school runs. All my kids, from 4 to 13 love sitting in the rear seats no matter how far we are travelling. Car very fast for size, leaves the boyracers standing. Its a sports car, a bus, a van, whatever you want! I could change it for one with better mpg and cheaper tax but to be honest I just love this car too much. It's a keeper!

    My car

Having had the car for two years i would say it is probably the best large MPV to get if you like driving. The smax handles like a normal car with plenty of grunt from the 2.0 TDCI engine, mine has the x-pack which includes a number of things but the 18' wheels are the best add on which really makes the car look cool. The only downside is with the car being heavy i only get about 14000 miles to a set of front tires (which cost £185.00 each to replace). If you can live with that shock then you will love the car.

    My car

Had this a while now. At first I was a bit worried about the small engine but in reality it is plenty of torgue and is quite refined. Good... Handles very well for a 'bus' but is no match for my F2 day car (not kidding) LOL. Rides the UK roads well and is practical and economic. The kids (3)love it and it looks very cool in black. Bad... Flakey interior bits (mostly good) especially the further back you go, hit and miss dealers.

Overall a very good car, far superior to the sloppy, ugly and badly built renaults, and way in front of the citroen C4 which has the worst gearbox in the world, even worse than the R-tronic Audi R8 which is saying something. If you are a family person and enjoy driving this is the car to buy.

    My car

It seems that you can't have everything (although I just about did with my previous Hondas): I like just about everything about my S-Max except the woeful service from Ford dealers. The shoddy service started when I picked up my new car from a main dealer in Maidstone. Having parted with my cash (notwithstanding that I managed to get a discount of over £3500), the dealer did not return my calls about several faults with interior trim. I must admit to giving up after 6 calls over a couple of months were never returned. Rather stupidly I mentioned the faults at the first service (at an Essex main dealer) only to be told trim faults have to be sorted out within the first year otherwise they are not covered by warranty. My car was 54 weeks old! The dealer said he would contact me when he made enquiries with the previous dealer. Guess what? 5 weeks on and I haven't heard a thing. This is a shame, apart from some flaky trim the car is great to drive and is very economical for a car that is both wider and longer than the old Galaxy. I never get much under 42mpg in mixed driving.
