    My car

I have this car with a lease. got this car in july 2004 and loved it. me and my best friend was shopping for a car and both picked the same car. she had a three door model and i have a 5door. I Like where the gear stick is in the car which is why i got it. how ever i have had forever problems with this car i have had a new clutch, a new gear-box, 2 sets of new breakes the interia light has gone 3 times. the car falled its 1st MOT. i am buying the car of the company so i trade it in for i BMW compact. i am glad that this was a compancy car as i would have probably would had 2 sell my house 2 keep it running. however i was really happy with the way that honda dealt with the me and when i asked for i car with leather seats i was given it :)

    My car

I have had this car for 3 years and it has been a Fantastic car to own!

Positives It is fast, frugal (32mpg average over 32000miles) for a 2 litre, roomy inside, looks amazing inside and out, handles like a go-cart, nothing has ever gone wrong, dealers are good and servicing is cheap but most of all makes a great noise at 8000rpm!!!

Negatives The turning circle is very poor, it does not like driving in the snow and ice, the ride is a bit harsh on passengers and it could do with a better radio.

The few negative points are mostly nit picking and definitally out weighed by the positives.

    My car

We owned our car from new, having bought it from a German dealer,( was based in germany at the time) so it was a left hander and automatic.

Firstly the space inside is great. I am well six foot two and i can arrange the driver seat for me and then get behind it and my knees are a clear 5 inches from the seat back. In a car of this size its fantastic. When we returned from Germany, myself, wife and son plus bags, hoover duty frees etc etc all fitted inside with room to spare.

Admittedly the engine isnt the strongest but its served us well be it poodling in town or doing a steady 85 (oops) on the motorway.

The ride is overly firm though and a fair bit of road noise is present, but thats what a car stereo is for !!

Running costs have been cheap, servicing good, dealer back up i cant say as we have never needed to go to one other than servicing.

Only one thing has gone wrong with the car and that was a sensor for the abs, which for a six year old car is remarkable, the seats are like new, the plastics tough, the carpet unmarked and the over all impression of this car is one of great satisfaction.

Thank you Honda for such a great car.

Am now trading it in for a Jazz which the wife prefers so will be sorry to see it go but its time for something new.

    And cost wise:

bought for £8000 equivalent part ex for £2500

    Cant grumble !!!!!
