    My car

I do like the car a lot however I do have the following issues:

    - Awful gear selection in first and second especially when the engine is cold.

    - The interior plastics scratch badly, I have managed to scratch the dashboard when dusting it just by catching it with a fingernail(I am a man with short finger nails before anyone comments!).

    - It is (currently) impossible to get new tyres (EX with 18 inch wheels). The standard Dunlops are not being produced again until March, delivery in April. Unfortunately I need the tyres NOW!

Owners be aware that Honda have issues with fitting the Pirelli car tyres of the same size. I made the mistake of asking them and they told me that if I proceeded it will invalidate the warranty. So I'm afraid that my car will be off the road for a few weeks until the tyres arrive. Also of interest is that they have told me that it is not their problem as they don't make tyres. True, but not good as I am buying a car for my wife....and it won't be a Honda!

    - In my view the stated economy is not achievable. I tried really hard top get to 40.9 but gave up driving so (dangerously) slowly. The car has settled down to 39.5 with daily motorway treks at around 40-60 (due to heavy traffic).

    My car

I have owned the CRV for about a year now, it has been a great car, I've had no problems at all. The diesel engine is a joy, it's got tons of low down grunt with a very good pick-up in any gear. A couple of issues I would raise, the internal plastics tend to mark easily and are hard to the touch. With the 20" wheels you tend to get a lot of road noise, the quality of the sound system isn't great. I've had no problems with it pulling to the left as reported by others. I tend to get around 35MPG. The Bluetooth and the SAT NAV are very good. The rear view camera tends to attract the dirt to the lens making it un-usable on wet dirty days. Overall, a great car and I wouldn't hesitate in having another one.

    My car

I have owned my CRV for 3 months and have been very pleased with the car so far. Gearchange is far from the best and I wish they did an auto for the diesel. I find car very comfortable but rear seat passengers complain of rolling about. With 140BHP and 250lds torque I do tend to push on at times. Would I recomend one? 'You bet'.

    My car

This is my 2nd CRV, the previous one being a 1995 model. The new one is a major all round improvement and the level of kit on the EX is excellent.

    Three issues though:

    1) I have yet to see 43 mpg 2) It pulls to the left (pronounced at motorway speed) and despite it being into the local Honda dealer its no better. I am in the process of sending it back again 3) The bluetooth is truly the worst I have ever (attempted) to use please dont specify as an optional extra.
