    My car

Just got my EX model, exact colour as whatcar pic.and am chuffed to bits. Mind, just part exed a Voyager 2.8Crdlx plus cos of running costs and too big,so was hoping for big improvement.Quality of fit is brill, ride is brill and quiet for a diesel and road manners top notch,it is one really well sorted car.Great feeling pushing on thru corners where the Voyager would have quit, gears nice and slick and performance is great.Only done 120 miles so far and getting 34mpg,but havnt had my foot out of the carpet yet.Love the sat-nav and hands free phone,in fact nearly all the functions you can think of can be altered by voice control,I set aside 2 days to learn them but had it down in 60 mns.Tons of room for me and wife/kids/GSD.Stereo is great, got the ipod extra but not in stock yet so plugged my nano in thru the aux jack and its pretty damn good,so hoping the extra control of the ipod kit will be worth the extra £225.Auto wipers, their sensitvity can be altered on the stalk, maybe this will cure problem previous reviewer had.As for auto lights and fog, this is my 3rd such car and not one of them has worked in fog.Suppose will have to put them on myself if its foggy.Only gripe-passenger seat dosent adjust for height and doors dont close after 5mph auto.spoke to Honda and both not an option . bummer .

    My car

I own an EX model in black ,which looks great but is a nightmare to keep clean! This is a hugely capable car, comfortable, quiet, refined and economical. I needed a towcar for my caravan and chose the Honda after 3 months of scouring road reports, including the States. Although it's a compact SUV this is a big car with bags of space. The boot is very roomy but the second shelf could have been better designed. It can't be folded in half with the tonneau cover in place. The satnav works well but is over speced for most people. There are so many options, most will never be used. Fuel economy is over 40 and 26 when towing, which is better than my Scenic was. The reversing camera allows me to place the towball right underneath the caravan hitch--- brilliant!

    My car

I'm very pleased with my first Honda which looks superb especially in black. I have had the car for 2 months and covered over 3,000 miles so far. The build quality is excellent, with a light clutch, positive steering and a superb gearbox linked to an easily reached gearstick. The car is now averaging over 40mpg on longer runs and more with sensible acceleration and good use of the gearbox. It has a comfortable seat and easily adjustable driving position. The engine is very smooth and responsive with handling as good as most cars. The EX extras are very useful especially the rear view camera, but a word of caution, my Sony Ericsson W810i phone will not operate on outgoing calls and don't store anything on the dash area or you are likely to scrath it. I am now getting used to some dieselrattle in the lower gears and the firmer ride after four years and 60,000 miles with my superb Rover 75 diesel(which I still use on occasion).

    My car

Noticed that there were tons of reader reviews for the diesel, but not for the petrol, so have decided to chip in. This car is quite a nice head turner, with many strangers commenting on how great the car looks, I guess this is due to the relatively low number of 07 models out there. We decided on getting the ES Automatic with Sat Nav - I'd highly recommend this add on for the audio upgrade alone.

Seats are comfortable, safety quite is good (although only scored 4 stars in the EuroNCAP after Honda used its expectation of a 5 star rating in its a sales pitch). ISOFIX car seats attach nicely. Boot space is great - you do need to invest in some collapsable crate/storage container as the shopping flies all around the back if you don't. Smooth ride, very clear dash. The lack of electric seats (except on the EX, and on the drivers side only at that!) is a bit disappointing for a Japanese teched up car, it's what I'd expect on a solid German car.

Fuel economy on the auto is 30MPGs combined. I find if I drive relaxed I hover at 30mpgs in local traffic and 32mpgs on the motorway at 70mph. 35mpgs using cruise control at 50mph.

We did have a hiccup where the rear suspension were squeaking - took it back and got it fixed pronto. They just needed to lube it up, so we'll see if it reoccurs... if it does I will post an update here.

I would still recommend this car to anyone wanting a relaxing car and lacking a need for speed! 4.7 out of 5.
