    My car

Have had this car for 6 months and 20000 miles. Interiour trim damages easily and the MP3 socket is very poorly located. Bought the car with the advanced safety pack, since day 1 the AFS headlights go into fault on just about every journey. Only way to clear the fault and get the headlamps working again is to turn off the engine and then start it again, great if you are on a motorway. Honda keep saying they are aware of this problem on the CRV and are working on a fix. 6 months on no fix and none in site. When you can get through to customer services they promise to find out the current situation and phone back, they never do. My 1st and last Honda

    My car

Took delivery of an auto EX a month ago, well pleased generally. No problems with pulling left whatsoever, everything works as it should with a few of exceptions to be aware of :

    - the quality of the interior plastics is really poor, there are already bad marks where the seat belt buckle hits the door pillar when you take it off. This problem is bad enough that I would not buy another Honda, it's fatally damaged my faith in Honda quality.

    - the satnav database contains many errors on roads that have been unaltered for the last 20 years. The satnav also makes quite a few poor routing decisions, although it is quite easy to use.

    - the seats lack lateral support and you roll about when cornering.

All cars have their strong and weak points and the CRV is no exception. Pricing is quite competitive and I'm fairly happy it'll be a sound workhorse - without really catching my affections...

    My car

Like Jim Saunders my car has just undergone its first service. I bought a 5 year service plan and it was a nice feeling to pick up the car with nothing to pay!

Generally I like the car very much but am disappointed with the quality of some of the trim and I have money on Honda re-mapping the auto change in the none too distant future. I look forward to a diesel auto.

As to the lack of a CD changer JS should investigate the Card slot behind the SatNav screen. I have approx 50 albums loaded on to two SD cards

    My car

I bought this car new in March last year (my first Honda and 4 wheeldrive) and since then have driven an extremely enjoyable and troube free 12500 miles.I have had no experience of the car pulling to the left and the gear box is sweet. Just had 1st service and dealer experience was 1st class. Fuel consumption averages 39 mpg. Both my wife and I find the car to be luxurious and user friendly.Love the automatic lghting system!!! Just a couple of minor gripes why is there only the single CD system if only we could have the set up from the Outlander!! I find the positionng of the MP3 socket very inaccessable as well. Brakes always work well but do not completely inspire confidence
