    My car

Marcin and Kim, does your hrv suffer from the following? vibration/noise when first setting off, (and sometimes a thud?) and occasional fluctuating revs? if so, honda have recognised a fault with the CVT gearbox and extended the warranty for 10 YEARS!!! i suggest you take it to your dealer and ask them. (by the way, the warranty has also been extended for 10 years on the honda civic CVT gearbox) let us know how you get on. Geoff

    To Kim Marnoch:

Have you fixed the problem with your gearbox? What was the reason of this malfunction? I own a 1999 HR-V with the CVT automatic gearbox and unfortunately I now experience the same problem like you descibed. Any advice?

    My car

I purchased for my wife a HRV 5dr auto 54 plate with 25000 miles on the clock.

    It's a standard spec cd/air con/alloy wheels etc.

My wife loves it. She will not let me drive it as she says it's now hers. I've had no faults with the car but our local Honda garage, who did not supply it, want to give it a once over and sort anything out that may be needed before it runs out of warranty. But there is nothing noticeable.

It gives a good fuel return for an auto and is comfy and roomy. Just keep to the services required and it will keep on going as Honda's do.

I drive an FRV and Honda has been brilliant - they have looked after my car and now they will look after my wife's car. It's a stressless experience - unlike the past cars I have had.

It's fun to drive or be driven in. It's wacky but great.

    My car

I own a 51 Face lifted model with 10700miles when i bought it now has 113000 and runs like a dreammy bigest problem is the consumption at about 250-300 miles to a tank its not cheap. the ride and engine a super the cabin is no worse the other cars around in98 but rear space is a laugh and boot is way to small.
