    My car

I think the Honda Jazz is a fantastic little car. I learned to drive in my mum's 1.2 Jazz, and it is such a brilliant little car that I am tempted to replace my Fiesta with one.

The quality of the interior is generally good, as is the service recieved whilst buying the car, and the general maintenance of the car has been second to none. Servicing costs are reasonable, and 52mpg is easily achievable on a run.

Frankly, anyone who does anything but sing the praises of a car as good as this must have a screw loose!

    My car

Having owned the car since 2003 from new overall I have been delighted with the Jazz After 65000 miles apart from routine servicing I have not changed as much as a bulb, however 1st service at main dealer and the last very expensive , find an independant half the price at least & better service Only dissappointment is the wear on the front drivers side carpet I had two replacements under warranty at a very reluctant main dealer Only 2 Disappointments 1. The Main Dealers 2. The Main Dealers

    My car

This is my second Jazz, bought new in Nov. 2007. I had considerable problems with my first one which persistently let water in through the back door in spite of the dealer's best efforts to prevent it, on the occasion the dealership were excellent.

My current Jazz has just been in for its 25,000 mile service (24,400 miles to be exact) and I was told by the dealer that the front brake discs need replaced. They first tried to pass the cost on to me without checking if it could be changed under warranty.

However, when I raised the issue, the very helpful service manager arranged for Honda to be contacted about the matter. Honda UK replied that from the evidence sent and the information received that it is perfectly acceptable to need to replace front disks after 24,400 miles and consider it normal wear and tear.

From this I can only conclude that if I choose to keep my Jazz then I need to budget for new front disks every 25,000 miles.

Sorry Honda, I've had several new cars over the years and yours is the first to need new disks after such a low mileage and what I'd consider 'normal' urban driving (no dirt roads or tracks to negotiate).

For a company who appear to market themselves on their reliability and quality I haven't had much luck.

    My car

I bought this car to replace a 1996 Honda Civic. The Jazz is a piece of junk. It creaks much more than my old Civic, its ride is bone shaking, the visibilty is poor. The carpets in the Jazz are so slippy they are dangerous, they have been made out of the cheapest material known to man. The worst part is the performance. This is a 1.4 engine compared to my old 1.5 Civic.....the Jazz is just so slow, the handling is awful and the engine sometimes from a standstill feels like its in the wrong gear and is very un-nerving. Overall, I wish I had not purchased this piece of junk. I will be selling the Jazz as soon as possible.
