A car that really grows on you and I now regret selling mine.
First the bad points - 1) gearbox needed an overhaul and, as it was out of warranty, cost me a few quid; 2) it's a bit noisy - but it is a sports car 3) insurance is high 4) the 4ws means that parallel parking is different as the point of manoeuvre is not the same as a 2ws car and 5) the auto gearbox doesn't really suit the high reving engine. Good points 1) the seats are really comfortable. I did over 24k in one year in mine and I found the whole travel experience a joy 2) the four wheel steering is fab and means that the handling and road-holding are far superior to anything equivalent I've driven (LJK Setright was right) 3) Engine is fab 4) equipment levels are generous (as is the boot)
All in all I wish Honda still made Preludes. (Note BMW are bringing back the same 4WS system)
