    My car

Just collected my 2007 GT from my dealer in Littlehampton and with the VSA on the car now one can't fault anything. The drive is still the same as on my one before but the handeling is so much better, now I can put my foot down and the car does not even step out.

My previous one was bought from a dealer in london and the service was beyond a joke, did not want to buy one again untill a friend told me about the good service he got from his dealer. Followed his advice and have to say that it was a plesant purchase.

Owned a Boxter before and the S2000 is so much better in every way, would recommend this car to anyone looking for a decent roadster.

    My car

I picked up my MY07 Roadster early December.

I had Civic Type-R previously but S2000 is a totally different i-VTEC engined honda. The car is very smooth to drive and still very stable when pushed upto 9000rpm. You have to be little careful in the wet though.

Seats are supportive and comfortable for the long journey. Boot is good size for the roadster although the storage in the cabin is poor. Easy-to-use switches are well laid out.

Great Car / Great Engine / Great hood / Great dealership / Great build quality / Great value. Deserves 5 star easily.

    My car

Great car, looks and ride are fantastic! Bought new (2005 model) May this year.

Like all the other reviews, superb over 6,000 rpm, a little boring under. Demands respect in the wet!

Have concerns regarding the gearbox and have asked the dealer on more than one occasion. Given lots of reasons (excuses) but not convinced it will last the 3 year warrenty? Have problems with massive jerks in 1st gear through city driving.

Love the car but hate the gearbox and low rev driving-needs to be address'd befoer I would buy another!

    My car

New Honda S2000GT arrived early in June 2006. Previously owned a Mazda MX5. Purchasing process a fiasco. The information on Honda UK's website, in the brochure, and at the dealership, didn't match up! Honda UK tried to brush the issues back to me and the dealership when THEY were responsible. I found Honda UK shambolic, useless, and very unhelpful. Watch out for 2005 models being sold as 2006 models, which is happening a lot! Honda tried to fob me off with a 2005 model but I refused it, and finally got the 2006 model.

Finally got the car. Superb! Engine & gearbox fabulous. 37.5 to 40 mpg on motorways, 28 locally. Use superunleaded petrol, mpg 20% better than unleaded - which gives poor throttle response and a noisy engine. Quirky gear ratios but they work well. Seats & driving position v. comfortable. No glovebox is dumb, and the sun visors don't do their job very well because of their shape. Rear visibilty restricted. V. easy to drive and v. comfortable on long journeys. Superb acceleration. Turning circle much larger than on the Mazda and steering ratio higher. Engine & gearbox silky smooth. Quirky boot interior shape strange but useful. Central footwell perfect for a brief case/bags etc. Boot holds much more than MX5. Doesn't handle like an MX5, but no sign of oversteer. Grips the road like glue. Hard top easy to fit/remove. Electric hood fabulous. Great car; excellent build quality & finish + excellent performance. A joy to drive. I would recommend this car to anyone.
