    My car

Well I have had this car 14 months and covered 27,000 miles and apart from putting diesel into the car this has cost me nothing to run. Yes nothing, as it is covered by a free 30,000 mile service. It has never let me down and always runs smooth.

I have even had a 46inch tv in the back (with the rear seats folded down)

The interior is of a good standard and functions well.

Fuel on average, i get 50-55 depending on conditions.

Just to add and not bore u too much, pound for pound this is the best deal on the budget car market as this car cost me 7k new and with 5 years warranty , well u do the maths and see if an other car manufacturer can match this , see you in five years !!!!!

    My car

    Poor quality plastic on dash.

Wish that the indicators were on left

only problem is windscreen wipers are not smooth in action if only light rain

Dealership has not solved the problem and has since lost franchise hence not getting far.

    My car

I've had my 1.3 manual for three weeks now and I love it. The ride is smooth and well controlled, and the engine noise is very well suppressed at normal city speeds.

It doesn't feel underpowered. The manual transmission is a peach. It's less motchy than the one in my old car, a 2003 Corolla.

The steering is okay but a tad overboosted for quick, last-minute emergency turns at speed.

The seats are fine, although they need more lumbar support. The controls are well laid out and the driving position is nice and high. The angle of the gas pedal is a bit too steep, though.

There is a removable, lidded ashtray that fits into one of the cupholders in between the seats. It's a good idea and, since I don't smoke, I just use it for coins. There are lots of other little storage spaces. The space behind the rear seats is surprisingly big. It can swallow a few overnight bags.

There's not much kneeroom in the rear but, since the rear wheels have been pushed far into the corners, you get a flat seatback capable of handling three in a pinch.

It has great exterior styling - it's very well proportioned and clean. The rear three-quarter view is especially appealing.

The car costs around 2000 US dollars less than the Honda Jazz here in Manila. The Jazz has a bit more space, a more refined interior, and other stuff, but I still don't think all that is enough to justify the price difference.

The Getz is a great deal.

    My car

I got the car on the road for £6999. I wanted a car for going to work, which cost me next to nothing to run. This car is comfortable with air-conditioning and comfortable seats.

While it's never going to be fast, the car is adequately powered.

I've covered 5000 miles and my only complaint is that the CD player stops working on one speaker. I can't be bothered to take it to the dealers for repair.

So, I've got a commuting vehicle which is dependable and suprisingly quiet. It keeps me cool, does 42mpg and is subject to free servicing for 30,000 miles.

I recommend this car. You just can't go wrong.
