Purchased my i10 Comfort 1 month ago. What a great little car. Our other car is an XC90, so we needed something small and economical. This car has all the kit you could ever want, plus a great stereo, which you can connect your ipod to. I am getting 50mpg on average. Mine has a rear wiper (they all do) looks good, is roomy, safe and ideal for parking, and to cap it all the road tax is £35..it also comes with a 5yr unlimited mileage warranty!! I am 100% pleased with my car, my wife also drives it now and again and loves it. The kids have enough room in the back and there is still room in the boot. Lights are very good at night as well, main beam awesome!Highly recommended. Only minus points: could do with leather steering wheel!Hard to believe I paid £7200 on the road with metallic paint!
I just love my i10. It is lovely to drive, comfortable and really economical.
I'm currently doing well over 40mpg just around town. I've done one long drive and it didn't present any problems.
My husband drives a Mondeo estate so is used to size and comfort but he's quite happy to travel in my little car.
I don't understand what the previous reviewer said about not having a rear wiper. My car has one and it's only the basic version.
I traded in an MGF to get this car and I'm delighted.
If you want a car that does 0-60 is 0.1 seconds this ain't it. If you want a car with top speed 300 mph this ain't it. If you want a comfortable, cheap car that runs well, this is the one for you.
If you like you're motoring cheap and cheerful, this is it. For just under £6,500, you get a dinky town car that will accommodate four adults for short journeys. air conditioning as standard, impressive entertainment system, a perky 1 litre engine, and very nimble handling (as a friend of mine demonstrated whilst I was a passenger!). Negatives about the little car are no wiper on the rear hatch / tailgate (very surprising!), with the back seat folded down to increase load space it isn't a flat surface - has a lump in it, plus the 1 litre engine does get rather vocal when pushed hard or at high speed. For the price, the dashboard is plastic city, but the seats are reasonable comfortable, plus the fuel economy is superb. An ideal first time driver's car. Full marks Hyundai, but shame about that rear wiper!
