For the price, this is a good value for money work-horse which has been totally reliable over the first 30,000 miles.
It seems to be under powered compared to other MPVs and the engine is very thirsty at higher revs, which are required for any kind of performance.
The suspension is hard and really shows up the pot-holes, but comes into its own on corners, where there is very little roll.
I bought it to carry large items and transport a large family. I would like the luxury of the new Renault Espace but prefer not to suffer the heavy depreciation.
I have the automatic model. I find it a very easy car to drive not noisy, as suggested in your reports, although there are a few squeaks and groans from the inside cabin, not sure from where.
It's very child friendly with all the extras that come as standard. I am interested in buying the special edition 2.0SE auto. I dont find it that hefty on petrol, especially on long distances, I have had mine for 4 years now and to date have had no trouble. I will always recommend it especially for good value for money.
