    My car

I own a Grand Vitara (and drive it cross country) and also a brand new Tuscon Xenith. I have to say I am delighted with the build quality of the Xenith and its extras but more importantly, with the driving experience. Road holding is good, cabin comfort excellent and overall finish is superb. I am still getting to grips with fuel consumption but agree that sensible use increases mpg. Combined with the superb warranties, I would recommend this car to any non badge concious buyer as an excellent value SUV. Finally, I added a few extras to my car: a new mesh grill and a rear window spoiler which enhances the black finish and tinted glass. It looks great!!

    My car

This is my first 4x4 and we did a lot of research before buying it. We occasionally need to tow a boat, and live on a hill which is impossible in the snow, and because I don't need a car to commute but just for long journeys on motorways about twice a month, I liked the idea of having a high driving position and a bit more car round me.

We have been delighted with the Tucson. My previous cars were VWs and we thought that the Hyundai would be of poorer quality - how wrong we were. Everything seems better put-together than the Polo or Passat - there are no creaks or squeaks, the level of trim is amazing for the price and the car is a joy to drive.

We were concerned about the fuel consumption but I am averaging about 35mpg and on longer journeys about 41mpg, which is perfectly acceptable.

Don't take any notice of the slightly dodgy reviews in some magazines - Hyundai seem to be trying really hard to produce quality cars.

The dealership, which is very local to me, were charming, too - I've never had a bouquet of flowers when collecting a new car before! With a five-year warranty and five years' free servicing, it was a brilliant choice.

    My car

I have just bought this car with an 07 plate and am already really impressed. I did alot of research into ~£20k 4x4's and discovered this little gem. I do alot of miles and have already found this car far more comfortable than my Golf GTdi. The spec i got has tinted glass, twin chrome exhausts and the new 6 speed gearbox. It comes with full leather and multiple seat position adjustments for the driver (a real must for professional drivers). I have found the fuel consumption a little thirsty, about 400miles from the first full tank but not as bad as some of it's competitors (Suzuki GVit). I like who the boot works with a full door open or glass only. Also, when you put the back seats down, a plastic guard pops up and gives you a massive boot as it allows the seats to lie flat with no gap, plus they lock in place.. neat!

The only critisism i have is that the only sat nav available as factory fitted is a smart nav... DON'T GET IT!! Buy a Garmin or Tom Tom instead for the same price (or less).

All in all, i wouldn't go on the review above as it's somewhat flawed, i have no engine or wind noise going up and down the M40 everyday, smooth and quiet.

    My car

Me and mt family loved this car as it was our 1st 4 wheel drive . my biggest regret is the fuel economy and unfortunately we now have to depart company for a new nissan quashquai diesel. in the coming years the tucson will cost over £400 to tax and in england 250 miles equals a full tank of petrol which i cant afford
