    My car

The car is good to drive although there isn't much pelt for the engine size! The MPG is a bit low but you just dont care because it's worth the money overall.

The interior is nice and the seats are big and comfertable. I would go for leather of a dark colour cloth though because the seats will become stained!

Go for the premium sound pack, it's brill!

A good buy - better than the competition!

    My car

Love the car, very comfortable to drive, very economical returning 45+ mpg.

I've had two problems: 1. People say: "How do you like the Rover 75?" 2: Black smoke when I accelerate heavily, a common fault I believe down to the EGR valve (exhaust re-circulation valve). Jaguar are going to sort this under warranty

Overall would highly recommend this car.

    My car

The car, on the whole, lives up to to expectations well.

I thought it represented very good value for money to buy although I have found service costs to be on the high side. I was considering a change shortly but having checked out the trade-in values, I think I will give it a miss.

The depreciation has been rather higher than I expected. Additionally, given a mix of driving conditions, I find 25mpg to 27mpg a bit on the low side.

The finish of the car is excellent and the reliability has been very good.

My only gripe is the clutch, which makes perfect smooth changes near impossible, particularly in low gears. I wish I had gone for the auto.

    My car

I drive the turbodiesel and the frugality is amazing, sometimes it seems like the fuel gauge is stuck!

The overtaking performance in third gear is superb, even quicker than my other car, an Alfa 145 1.8TS.

The car continues to attract admiring comments from work colleagues and it certainly looks good in black, even better since Jaguar stopped putting the chrome strips in the bumpers. I specified split/fold rear seats as an option and it was well worth it. The extra flexibility makes the shallowness of the boot irrelevant.

One minor quality issue has been the Jaguar motif wheel iserts, which began falling out by themselves after two months of ownership. Fortunately, I only lost one and after forking out a tenner for a replacement I glued them all securely in place. Owners take note!!
