    My car

I bought this car four months ago. It was an ex-Director of Jaguar's car and hence came with many extras, including the Alpine audio kit which is superb.

Previously, I have owned an Audi 4.2 A8 and a BMW 7 Series. This Jaguar has same/better level of quality. It's ride and handling are fantastic. It has an incredibly smooth power delivery and in 'sport mode' is actually a fast car (3,000 revs = 100 mph).

On a fast 200+ mile round trip I obtain c31 mpg and overall running I get 28 mpg. This compares brilliantly with the Audi, that only returned 27/23 respectively.

It is beautifully finished inside. Mine has charcoal grey interior, but I wished it had the cream, as the dark interior easily shows dust - but I am fussy!

My wife, who is only 5' 3", also finds the car extremely comfortable and easy to drive/manouver.

Unlike the dredded "I Drive", I find Jaguar's equivalent to be extremely easy to use and 'user friendly'. This includes the Sat Nav.

I can truly recommend this car. I have also received many compliments about it and find that it doesn't have an offensive image like the German marques.

    My car

I have now owned this car since February and the more I drive it, the more I realise that buying it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

The car is sublime in its delivery of everything that is important. It has slightly more power than you'd ever need, slightly more speed, slightly more space, slightly more comfort. At Jaguar they have plainly looked at what is important and delivered it in shovel loads.

I drive the entire M4 corridor, one of the most depressing roads in the country, at least twice a week and at the end of a 200 mile journey, I feel fresher than I did when I left and more often than not, keep my speed down just so as to make the journey last longer, so nice an exerience being in the Jaguar is. My reward for doing this is not only three hours of leather clad luxury, but not uncommonly a phenomenal 50 mpg average fuel consumption. That means that it costs less than 10p a mile for fuel and I know no more rewarding way of spending 10p than to enjoy one more mile in a Jaguar XJ6.

And then once you get use to this frugal restrained oppulence, a B road opens itself up before you, you slip the thing into "Sports" mode and suddenly your huge civilised saloon becomes as eager and nimble as an old fashioned Mini.

    I love this thing.

    My car

I owned this car in 2004 and bought it brand new in 2004 for £43,000.

It's a fantastic car. It might not have the power of a Porsche but it doesn't half go, and the V6 just hums away as you go above 130mph.

I had mine in midnight black with cream leather interior with dark wood. I also had satellite-navigation and the electric sunroof and it was absolutely brilliant. Buy one - they're sublime.

    My car

This car has an excellent ride, great handling and super performance. It also returns good fuel economy. I've had good dealer sevice, and, over 18 months and 42,000 miles, no problems.
