    My car

Upsides: This car is reliable and nice looking.

Downsides: It's not confortable. It's engine doesn't like to be revved. The gear box is chewy. It's a kia.

    My car

This is update of my first review (July 2006). I am still very happy with this car at 13,000 miles. Wheels changed around once and I check for tyre wear frequently but nothing uusual found so far. Am puzzled by some other reviewers comments regarding very poor fuel consumption. Have recorded every litre going into my tank and overall figure is 52mpg. Am sure that it achieves up to 58mpg on my infrequent long journeys

    My car

I bought one of these as my second car and it was a breath of fresh air. I absolutely fell in love with it as soon as I sat in it in the showroom, and once I took it for a test drive, I had to have it! Despite a few of my friends (who I don't listen to!)making comments about the fact that it is a Kia , I am still in love with it (and I know they are just jealous really!)!!

The car is great to drive, and very economical and it is pretty speedy to plus it looks great. It has beaten cars which should technically be faster off the mark plenty of times and it is comfortable and exciting to drive. The price was especially good value, as it is affordable and you still get a brilliant car for your money. There are not many 19 year-olds out there who can say they own a brand new car and I am happy that I am one of them, and I am especially happy that mine is a Kia Rio.

    My car

Took delivery on October 24th. Current mileage 8,500, so it is fully run in. Impressed by the power of the engine, but very disappointed with diesel fuel economy. Kia say 60mpg, mine does 43-54mpg driven very gently indeed.

The 54 mpg was acheived on a 120 mile motorway journey not exceeding 60mph! My previous car, a petrol Toyota Yaris Verso, shaped like a brick, would get 49mpg in similar conditions. I won't be revisiting the Kia showroom.
