Bought this car after looking at other MPVs. Thoght this was excellent value for money £16,500 otr, as opposed to £25,000 quoted for other MPVs.
Bought due to loads of interior space, ample room for 4 adults and 2 children. Also had side steps and tow bar fitted included in price. Will tow a large caravan with no effort whilts returnig a good fuel economy.
Had this car now for nearly 3 years, and although services are pricey, then so are all main dealers! The only thing to go wrong has been the clutch release arm, which, when eventually diagnosed, was fixed under warranty.
The only regret would be the dealership services are far from helpful, still trying to find a good dealer out there, but wouldnt put me off buying one in the future.
I have owned this car for 1 year and it has been nothing but amoney pit. Dealer costs are extortinate for parts and labour and around town fuel consumption seems at bestto require a fuel tanker. The dealer i used was horrendous.Iwould strongly advise against unless you have very deep pockets
I have has this car - a Sedona 2.9 diesel 03 plate - for 17 months.
It has done 47,000 miles and it started to judder. Wondering what it was I took it in to the garage to find out that the whole fuel system has broken which is going to cost £3100 to fix.
I took an extra five years cover out on this as well. But Kia say they are not willing to help, saying it is nothing to do with them.
This I find disgraceful for a car of this age with this amount of mileage.
Before you buy one just take this into account.
Ive had the car for 16 months and apart from routine service and 2 new front tyres Ive not had a spot of bother with it- with the rear seats removed you could use it to move house- its huge. The v6 engine is very smooth and drived with respect has just returned me 29 mpg on a 460 mile round trip with 5 people and lugage- I have been impressed with the build quality and the leather seats are a dream, like a comfy armchair- well done kia

Bought a 2003 model 2.0 HDi diesel second hand in 2004 and still running it in 2012. 11,000 miles at purchase is now 113,000. Never broken down, but…
