    My car

I have done over 12,000 miles in this vehicle and the only issue has been the fuel economy. I only achieve 25mpg around town and on motorway 28mpg - the car has been back to the dealer for an updated version for the mpg (UK) but it has made the mpg worst. The dealer state that Kia is working on the issue, but has no idea as the when this will be sorted.

    My car

The high fuel consumption spoils what is otherwise quite a good car.

I'm only getting 22-25mpg, even on a run!

I am on my second vehicle because the dealer exchanged the first due to the high fuel consumption.

Kia has now said that the car could take 10,000 miles until it reaches claimed 40+ mpg.

I'm very, very disappointed in the overall experience of owning this car.

    My car

I did not intend to buy this but was sick of the high running costs on my diesel Mercedes A-Class, so I went to look at the Kia range.

I was very taken with build quality and equipment. I have had it for four weeks now and am very pleased. It's very quiet - much more so than the Merc; in fact I wondered if they had given me a petrol model by mistake.

I went for the auto, which is a little on the slow side, but better than I expected. I have driven several 4x4s and I think this is the best, and it looks great.

I am over six-foot tall and I find it very comfortable. If you are worried about residuals, my A-Class was three years old with a full service history and 32,000 miles on the clock. Even the trade-in offer from the Mercedes dealer was over a 50% loss. If you like the Kia, go for it - you won't be sorry.

    My car

I'm very pleased with the car. We have the diesel XS auto and are currently getting 32mpg. The car is very quiet and comfortable, its brakes are super and it handles very well. Kia has certainly imroved its quality.

The dealer service was very efficient, and my wife got a lovely buch of flowers when she collected the car!

    Recommended.
