This is the best car I have ever owned. It is highly capable both on and off road. It feels like an executive car and has the quality to match. The auto gearbox is fantastic and easily as good as the BMW's I have owned.
I have only had a couple of minor problems, which have all be dealt with by the dealer quickly.
I would buy another one tomorrow and can't think of a better car.
I have owned my Disco for 18months now and although I have had a few minor faults with it my dealership has been really efficient and fixed them all promptly. Overall though the car has been very reliable and has loads of space for a family of 5. I really cannot think of a better family 4x4 on the market at the moment and would recommend it to anyone.
I have had my Discovery 3 for nearly three years and it is simply the best car I have ever driven. I can drive hundreds of miles in a day and actually enjoy the experience. I frequently travel with six adults and a dog and I know that not only are they all comfortable, they are also very safe. This vehicle is built to last, it is totally practical and really solid.
I would not be without the Personal Telephone Integration (PTI) option. It so integrates with the rest of the audio controls. Personally I also think that the back windows just have to be dark tinted, then it really looks outstanding! It makes the competition look dull.
Discovery 3 has broken the mould and just doesn’t have the historic problems associated with previous models. The V6 diesel engine is superb and partnered with the automatic box it is just heavenly to drive. It also delivers between 24 and 30 mpg and carries up to seven people in luxury.
I have had a couple of minor faults, a sticky door lock and a washer bottle warning light. However this car comes with a three year warranty and a nice man comes to your home from Landrover in his Discovery 3 and fixes it on your drive. What is the problem? The Discovery 3 is a very different Land Rover from what has gone before, so we really don't need to hear about how bad your old Range Rover was. This is a class act and for my money it has been worth every penny.
I have owned my Discovery for two years now and am pleased to report that it has been a flawless experience, only visitng the dealership for its scheduled services.
The car is a fantastic all-rounder - it covers motorway miles effortlessly, with the seats down can be a real workhorse and can handle the rough stuff (albeit rarely with me driving) without breaking into a sweat.
I really cannot fault the car, even thought runnning costs are beginning to become excessive - but you can't blame Land Rover for a 33% increase in the price of diesel since I bought it.
All in all, it's a very practical and comfortable car that handles anything a family can throw at it (including a very wet and dirty Labrador!).
