    My car

My Dad Owns This Car So I Get Attached To It And Have An Idea Of It Feels Like To Drive.

On The Road It Has A Nice Tone But At Speed Wind Noise Is Quite or Very Noticeable. The Car Is Very High Off The Road But The Air Suspension Lowers The Car Making Access Easy.

Getting into the Back Is a Challenge When the Air Suspension Is High, The Wheel Arch and the Heavy Doors but with the Suspension down it’s less of a Challenge Just a Small Daily Task.

Running Costs: Running a Car like This Will Require A Few Bob in the Bank But Fuel Consumption Is Above Average for This Type of Car About 25-30 MPG on A Landfill Site (Tip) Run

In The Cabin: We Have Came Across A Few Problems • Air Con • Some Steering Wheel Controls Put The Radio Into Some Sort Of Mode Which Makes MUTE Show Up On The Display • Internal Sensors Don’t Work • EKA Is Needed If You Leave The Car On Its Own For a Short Period Of Time

Above Only 1 Out 4 Major Problems Have Been Fixed

This Car Has Quite A Few Years to Go

    My car

The best car I've ever owned. Moved up from a '98 Discovery V8 and it was amazing to experience the level of comfort, quality and satisfaction that arises from Range Rover ownership. After two and a half years of flawless companionship I still get a little thrill every time I step into the cabin.

The ride is fabulous, the handling better than than you'd think from a car this size and body roll is well maintained.

Although recent fuel price rises have pushed up fuel costs, insurance and servicing are reasonable if not outstanding.

Not a single thing has gone wrong in the time I've owned this car, trim remains as solid and plush as ever and the engine and mechanics work perfectly.

The cabin is both spacious and luxurious, with more than enough room for all your needs. Materials are beautiful to the touch and buttons and switches feel reassuringly expensive.

Equipment is more than adequate with only Sat Nav missing from my Rangie.

An amazing ownership experience that has prompted me to aquire another when the time comes.

    My car

I have owned a 1997 2.5 DSE auto from new. I'm now selling it to buy a new Range Rover.

In 130,000 miles of motoring, it has been excellent.

After one advert, I was inundated with buyers, and it has very good residual values, even with this mileage.

The car looks amazing, internally and externally. The paint gleams, the leather is almost as good as new. This is the third Range Rover I have owned with two Discoveries in between. All have done big mileages and have been great to own.

I have heard complaint after complaint about Range Rovers over the years, almost all coming from people who don't own one but "know somebody who has one"!

I hope the new one is as good as the outgoing one.

    My car

The oil pump failed on the motorway while doing 70mph. The driver's mirror packed up the following week and the air suspension would not go down but HEY it's a Landrover... what do you expect? I love it.

I love the way it drives and, if you are concerned about the running costs, you shouldn't even contemplate buying one.
