I have owned and driven many different cars, and this is the best by far. I actually look forward to driving it - it does everything you want it to do, and it is as economical as a petrol family saloon.
I looked at all the luxury 4x4s (including the larger Range Rover) but preferred this. I had a problem with noisy driveshaft when it was new but this was sorted quickly, and has been great since.
I would recommend one to anybody, especially parents like me who do not want to be old yet. This car has style and practicality in a quality package - who could ask for more?
I was a fleet manager in the UK, so I have driven many vehicles in my time, both at home and abroad.
In my opinion, this vehicle is superb at everything it does. Its ride comfort is top class, build quality is the same and it is excellent both on and off road. Living in Bavaria, it is important to me how the car performs in deep snow, both on- and off-road, and so far it has been excellent.
I would not swap it for any other vehicle I have driven (including my last, which was a Mercedes). If you want a car that is top class in all areas, backed up with an excellent dealer network and a strong warranty, then you would make a wise choice in buying this one!
On entering cabin, first impressions and smell of leather exude quality.
Driving position for me could not be better, wonderful vision, front and rear. Although larger than my previous 4x4, because of the driver's view, and excellent power steering,it seems much smaller.
Performance is fine - not everybody wants to reach 100mph in 5 seconds - have been getting 33,24 mpg on a journey.
Seats really mould to my body, no aching backs whatsoever.
No complaints about the car or the dealership so far at all. Well done Land Rover!
I have owned the Porsche Cayenne S for 14 months the build quality of RR sport is much better and for a diesel the drive is still very fast. It looks much better too.
