Had my new Mazda6 2.2d sports 2 weeks today, done 800 miles in it- last night engine management light appears, engine goes a bit chuggy and loose, down on performance - so this morning I took it to the local dealer. o2 sensor in the catalytic converter has gone. Service engineer thinks he can get one in and fixed tomorrow if not I'm on a courtesy car over the weekend - 2 weeks into owning a new Mazda - NOT GOOD!!! Get this - service engineer tells me he's done 6 exact same problem in last 2 weeks - happens between 500 and 900 miles - he recons its going to be a recall by Mazda. Why are Mazda not repairing these before they go to customers. Have been loving everything else about the car but this is WRONG - I bought the car on the what car review and that mazda had the least amount of breakdowns across europe - not even hit 1000 miles yet!!!
I am a company car driver and had one of these for 3 years (07-10) and 40k miles.I had a choice of a passat,Mondeo or a Renault Laguna.I personally…
Had this car for 90k from new. A 56 plate. In over 2,000,000 miles driven this one has broken down the most of any car I have had. DO NOT get a 2.0…
