Picked the car up from new in march. have covered 8000+ miles. very pleased with it.Engine pulls well. I particulary like the amount of useful kit that comes as standard.
This car is awful suspension like a bouncing castle, gear box like a 1930s tractor, handling like a marshmellow, steering that jumps out of your hand over every bump, low on power cars too heavy, poor rear and near side visibility at obtuse juctions and feels unsafe at speed, totaly unpractical around town, even the key is useless cannot fit a keyring on.space for spare wheel but no wheel how micky mouse is that And i am stuck with this rubbish for 3years.My advise dont have one
This is my 5th Mazda 6.All company cars. I get 530+ miles to the tank. Ticks absolutely every box for my needs. Good size boot, electric boot closure too. I drive 30K+ miles a year, and the 6 never lets me down. Local dealer usally very efficient too. CO2 rating quite good tax wise. Can't wait for the 2.2 diesel due next year. Well built, good to drive, reasonable tax, tremendous value, very reliable,stylish,........errr...it's a no brainer decision surely!
I have always fancied German cars, but since our car tax is almost 50% we end up paying nearly 2 cars for 1, German cars are becoming expensive, and hearing a bit of Dad´s advice,"German or Japanese"... I am very happy with the car until now, have had it for about a month, did around 1500Km. Engine responds well, interior finishing is good, lots of space, good range of equipment. It´s hard to find on the road, so more or less exclusive. Mazda client support has been excelent, they call up now and then. It´s not Audi or BMW but for that kind of money this Mazda is excelent buy. Average Km/L 7.1 and has been coming down I do seriously recomend it.

Bought car 2009 at 40k miles on clock. Since then I've had to replace both rear electronic brake calipers, to be fair this is probably wear and tear…
