    My car

We ordered the car on 3 March and the only bad thing was the wait. But it was worth it. We are MX5 fans anyway, and swapped a (2003) 1.8 Sport for the new 2.0 Sport. The roof is fab to watch, and it's such an easy car to live with. We can fit a trolley load of shopping in the boot, and even fit two golf bags in, now that the boot is deeper (thanks to replacing the spare wheel with a rubber solution fixing kit). The new model feels slightly better put together - the quality of the switches etc are just that little bit better. Would I recommend it? Yes! But if you want one, get your order in quickly, and be patient. Great things come to those who wait.

    My car

Great little car, our first sports car for many years and we love it. Picked it up 1st March 07. The funky electric never ceases to make me smile each time I use it. One or two manufacture niggles. A kind fellow road user opened their door with such force as to leave a dent and remove paint on our door, within a week of taking delivery. But cant get it touched up because Mazda havent yet made the new colour paint available ! Also promised a free day around a race track with advice on driving it / skids etc - but that has never materialised, very disappointing. But all that said, we love it and its fun to take out with the roof down - shame the Great British Weather wont let us do that very often !

    My car

I have just traded my RX-8 in for the 2.0 Sport. It's absolutely superb.

On the road, it has very crisp handling and plenty of performance. Fuel economy is good - but it would be, when compared with my last car.

Build quality is very high and, believe it or not, there's more room than I imagined. Even on a cold day you can put the roof down, turn the heated seats on and put the heater on high.
